I’ve come across many wines that didn’t suit my palate. Some were too sweet, others too dry, and still others just didn’t give me any reason to drink it. However, no wine has given me such an adverse reaction as this Zinfandel from Kelley Creek did.
Robin and I love to entertain. We don’t do it enough, maybe once every month or two. We’ll have a bigger party, maybe 20-30 people, once or twice a year, then we’ll have 2-4 other people over now-and-then. We always try to plan out a fun and exciting menu, complimented by fun beverages. You all know I’m a big fan of wine, and now you’ll see I love to cook!

A short video review and tasting of Jip Jip Rocks Shiraz Cabernet 2005 vintage. A 90 point Wine Advocate rated wine for $15 that screams QPR (Quality Price ratio)!
A video review of Big Fire’s Pinot Gris from Oregon.
My first ever video review of Chateau Guibon Blanc 2007.
This evening’s wine was Sobon Estates 2006 Viognier. It’s a nice summer wine that rolls in at $15, and while I won’t say it’s the best viognier, it was worth giving it a try. The video review that follows gives a good summary, but I’ll fill that out as well.
